Does anyone remember this made for tv movie from 1985? I believe it was a pilot movie and the series never got picked up. Back then I was in high school and I remember enjoying the movie. It was about a soldier that the Army makes in a lab. he is this "super soldier" and they name him Joe. He is assigned to this Colonel who trains him and gives him his missions. The Colonel is his caretaker and they form a strong bond. Joe is like a one man Special Forces team. He is quick, smart, strong and knows multiple forms of martial arts. Sort of like Captain America without the uniform & shield. I found out that it was released on video under the title "Humanoid Defender." I checked that title on Amazon and found it for 94 cents! I bet when I watch it this time around it is going to be extremely dated and awfully cheesy. I can't wait to see it. Anyone else remember watching it?
