I have heard rumors that there may be a sequel in the works for sixteen candles? Does anyone have any information on this or a source for good information on this topic?

True True, there have been so many rumors to this story, but I don't think it will ever happen. Unfortunately what I do see happening in the next few years is a whole new group of teens doing a remake of it and many other of our favorite teen flicks.
There has been talks of remakes of Porky's and Can't Buy Me Love.

I think it's just a case of writers wanting easy work and easy money, but iwith the declining box office for movies, maybe it's a sign that people are fed up.

This is true, but what really have they even remade that has bombed?? Maybe they need to go back and search some old gold mine franchises? Oh wait a sec...isn't Sly doing that now! LOL
