Okay let's give Sixteen Candles a try. What is your favorite scene from this great great teen flick? Posted by Ali_with_an_i (Member # 27) on :
Ahh, the one with Jake Ryan in it. Yeah thats it! Posted by rocksteadyflamethrower (Member # 1065) on :
Anything with Long Duk Dong.
Also, I love the scene where The Geek is driving Jake's car with Caroline in tow. In a brilliant bit of breaking-the-fourth-wall, he turns to the camera and says "This is getting good". It seems like a precursor to "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" in a way.
Sincerely,
John Kilduff

Call me a Mush, but it's definitely the final scene with Jake and Samantha sitting on the table with the Birthday Cake.
Jake: Happy Birthday, Samantha. Make a wish.
Samantha: It already came true.

I love you Valley, you picked my favorite one too! I also love anything with the Donger in it, you can't go wrong with that.

I love when Sam goes up to her room and finds her Grandparents there and all you hear is..."Look, ohh look...my little lambchop..."
I also love all the scenes from the New Faces dance. I wish I could jump into the movie during those cause it looks so fun!!

"Isn't that your Chinaman on the ground?"
I actually used a variation on that line in "Rewind: The Movie".

Several:
When Samantha and Ray are in his house and tells her to make a wish and she says "It already came true."
When Samantha realizes that her family forgot her birthday and says "I can't belive it, the Fu**&* forgot my Birthday."
Long Duk Dong and his "What's Happening Hot Stuff."

The entire movie is the epitome of all that is great and wonderful in this world. I can't choose just one, so all of them.
