I am trying to get the name of ta movie I saw when I was younger. I am pretty sure it was made in the 80's.
It is about a girl in high school, and she is an ugly duckling, and a group of popular kids make a bet on making her pretty. The popular girls make her up and then the hot guy dates her, then they tell her it was all a dare. Can you help me? Thanks!!!

I think I might have seen this one--I believe it was an Afterschool Special of sorts--but I can't remember the title for the life of me.
