While looking through my local Apollo DVD shop here in London I noticed Home Alone 4 on the latest release section....since when did this come out?... it must have been a "straight to DVD" movie?.
Obviously the cast are different now but it hasn`t been directed by John Hughes.
To be honest I didn`t even know there was a 3rd home alone.
Come on own up, who has watched Home Alone 4.....whats it like??

Nae Me. I did hear that it was coming out too, Im trying to think where I heard it. It will come back to me. Nope..wont ever see it, liked the first 2 and that was it. No macaully culkin, no home alone, and thats my final offer.

The 4th was straight to video. I think the 3rd might have played in the theatre, if so it probably didn't do so well without Culkin in it.

Home Alone 4 was a made for TV movie that aired on NBC earlier this year. It was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. It is now available on DVD as Home Alone: Taking Back The House. I'm a fan of the first 2 flicks, and the third is OK, but stay away from this new one.

Actually ABC has the rights to the Home Alone films. I had some ABC TV shows, mimi series, and movie special screener VHS, and DVD.
With me though I stopped watching after part two
