i never heard anything (period) on a remake for the movie at all.

i agree with river... original film making sure is dead.

They say that imitation is the most highest form of flattery or something like that. I kinda enjoyed "Can't buy me love", I have only seen it once or twice. I suppose if people want to do remakes of great movies and songs, not too much we can do to stop them. I feel the same way about original movies I have to say, leave them alone. Oh and sequels too. Neverending story should have never had a sequel. Just my opinion. I am off my soap box now..carry on.

Just looked at your link, guess they're going for an ethnic slant. At least they're admitting to stealing the idea.
