Please help me if you can, I used to rent this movie from blockbuster ALL of the time as a child but they no longer have it and I don't remember the title... Here's what I can remember about the movie:
There was the blonde haired girl that moved to a new town with her mom, an older man that later in the movie became her friend, lived in like a trailor by the house i think, anyway, there were these group of boys that had this club, but you had to be a boy to be in the club, so she put on boy clothes, and a cap and pretended to be her "brother" to join the club, she also became friends with this dark haired girl. At their school there was a singing/dancing contest, competition thing, and her and her friend signed up for it, but so did the boys, who had a band...then she's stuck trying to do both auditions...It was a really cute movie I think it was from the eighties...PLEASE help me....I loved it as a child, and would love to just remember the title! help...

Thanks for your help, but this movie was set in america, and the girl pretended to be her brother, she didn't actually even have a brother...oh and she played keyboards in the band

Sorry that's the only film I found when searching that could have been it judging by it's plot summary. I wish you could search through user comments on the IMDB, it would make searching for obscure films a bit easier.

from what I remember about Willie Mille (which also goes by the title Something Special or I WAS A TEENAGE BOY)(1986) A little girl (dark haired) wants to be a boy. she's lookin at the sky with her best friend (light haired) and she makes a wish on a star. when she wakes up in the morning she has a penis. she starts callin herself Willie instead of Millie. This seems to go off without a hitch until her best friend starts to get a crush on her. at the end she turns back into a girl...somehow. hope this helps.
