I'm looking for a song off of "Pretty in Pink"It is an instrumental song heard for only a few seconds when Andie puts in a tape in her car and duckie fast forwards it. It has lyrics but you never hear them. Anyone know what this might be? I know that the song came out in the early eighties.It's definately a saxophone solo I used to play it when I was little, now I don't remeber what it is. It's not on the soundtrack.

no it's not that.....that song is one of my favorites though- I'm a music fanatic and this one has stumped me....I have found out that whoever it is by it was a one hit wonder.

After reading the soundtrack listing at the end of the film. I believe it is one of these two artists: Code Blue, with the song 'Whisper/Touch'; or Maggie Lee with the song 'What's it gonna be'. I have a feeling it might be Code Blue, but it's just a guess.

I seem to remember them havin a few New Order songs in the soundtrack. For instance,whewn she's in the carw ith Duckie and he's complaining that all the songs are crap...Im pretty sure a New Order song is on.

The New Order song is "Shell Shock". I love that song. I also love The Smiths "Please Please Please let me get what I want". That's a great sound track!
