In the 80's there was a movie where some blonde kid (kind of dorky) worked in soda shop(based in 50's) and he fell for some hot blonde. Does anyone remember the name of this movie. I recall him wearing some light blue lettermans sweater. Thanks!!

The soda shop doesn't ring a bell but it sounds like the movie Mischief. -an 80's teen-sex comedy that takes place in the 50's.
Was Kelly Preston (Mrs. Travolta) the blonde?
If so, that's the one.
