This is my all- time favorite movie. i love watching it i really miss River Phoenix :( he was such a good actor. You really never find movies as good as Stand by me, i think all the best movies were basiclley made in the 80's. Did anyone ever see this movie?

Yup I did...mainly when I was very young, like between 4 and 8 I think. I remember I was scared for the longest time by the dead-guy scene.

I've seen it a bunch-- it's too bad that you don't see those actors very often anymore. Great flick though!!

great film! I was heartbroken when River Pheonix died, I remember crying myself to sleep! (I was very young)

yeah i seen that film. i have it on video still n watch it quite a bit.
