I bought the first season on DVD at a thrift store, never saw one episode, is it any good?

I used to love it. It's got that great 80's sitcom vibe (and a great sax-filled theme tune!) I'm sure like most sitcoms it's formulaic when watched back to back, but I have fond memories of watching it back in the day.
