Did any of you ever watch this on HBO, back in the early 80s? My parents would never let me watch it, but I did see most of the eps. several years later, on some channel when we used to have those big ol' satellite dishes. Anyhoo, I was looking at the Halloween movies at Walmart the other day and both seasons of the Hitchhiker are available on DVD, and they're about $10-$15. I didn't get them, but I think I'll go back and pick them up if Walmart still has them.

I own two Hitchhiker dvdīs that was released here in Finland. I havenīt watched them yet but i think that these are some kind of "best of" compilations. Both two-disc sets include 9 episodes.
