What things happened in the 80's that kids in the 00's have missed out on?

REAL cartoons--good grief, sometimes I take our kindergartners outside for PE and they play games like "Ben 10" and "Pokemon." Then they try to explain the whole concept, and I just look at them and tell them I'm thankful I had real cartoons to watch. They look at me like I'm stupid lol.
