Interesting adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's novel. Great performances by Depp, Eckhart, Ribisi, and Heard. I heart Amber Heard. 7/10 stars.

Loved 'Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas', this isn't quite the same thing but 'The Rum Diary' was a good novel and I'm sure Johnny Depp and Bruce 'Withnail & I' Robinson will do the book justice.
