Well I have been on a SciFi kick of late, and I watched Skyline (P.S. it isn't happy) and Battle: Los Angeles (P.S. it's pretty good). Movies of late (the last 3 or so years) have been all about how robot aliens are going to take over. I don't know how I feel about this because it just doesn't seem likely.
Anyway, Battle LA is a good movie, it has a lot of action and you get to care about the characters a lot more than in something like Predator. It's also nice to know that the ending has a bit of happiness to it, and it's worth two hours of viewing.
Skyline on the other hand isn't happy, it's a little weird, and the premise of the whole movie is really scary. Scary in a imagine this actually happened way.
