Okay let's see here, she had two really great songs with Holding out for a Hero and Total Eclipse of the Heart. Her powerful voice is very distinctive. It is a shame that she didn't have much more of a music career. I do not know of any other songs that she had other than these two.

Holding out for a hero was in Footloose and Who's Harry Crumb. And I am sure numerous other films because the music is that powerful and can be used for a variety of films.

Does anyone have any particular thoughts on this artist?

She had a big hit in 1978 with "It's A Heartache". She sounded almost like Rod Stewart in that one! [Smile]

She was a singer, not a musician. Big difference in my book.
