Watched this great British giallo yesterday.
It was directed by Norman J. Warren (Prey, Inseminoid) who decided to make this movie
after watching Dario Argento´s Suspiria.

The cast includes John Nolan, Carolyn Courage, James Aubrey, Sarah Keller, Tricia Walsh and superhot Glynis Barber (Dempsey & Makepeace)
All the girls are very pretty, especially Barber.
I would´ve loved to see her in a bigger role but they say that she was a last minute choice for the part
and just because she looked stunning [Smile]

Loved the mini "Hammer" movie in the beginning and the feel of the film.
This was great old school horror flick which ahd it´s problems with the censors (it was banned in Sweden)

It was also nice to see early Warren flick, Satan´s Slave
and Swedish classic Thriller - en grym film posters on the office wall.

Terror was quite succesful and made more money than any other film then showing, during the week of its UK release in 1978.

Nasty kills, evil witch, wicked club scene, beautiful ladies and excellent, haunting locations and feel.
Recommended!

I love Norman J Warren's horrors, especially Satan's Slave, except for this one [Frown] Some of the kills are cool, it's everything else that bores me.

Oh, Helen [Cool] I know that you are a pro and watch at least one horror flick/day
but how can you find this boring?
It´s only 80 minutes long and has lots of cool stuff going on [Smile]

I would love to see all the other Warren flicks.

I like Warren because of his enthusiasm as a horror fan--and I like "Satan's Slave" too--but I can't say that I like all of his stuff. (You have to see "Horror Planet" to disbelieve it, aTomiK.) He can't hold a candle to Peter Walker. Now that guy had a stunning run of brilliant UK horror films.

I have no idea what I was thinking back then [Eek!] While I still think it's his weakest horror I just watched and had an absolute ball with this!!! I'm so happy [Big Grin]
