If you can coach or play, your prior history doesn't matter one bit. I am exaggerating but it seems that way sometimes. Some of those guys have so much money that they can get away with stuff you and I couldn't. Getting sidetracked.

Back to Bill, I think he was the head coach that made Terry(Bridges) drive his shoulder many times into the blocking dummy injuring it worse. What a guy

Yes, we don't really like your resume. We are willing to overlook the sodomy however considering you seem to have some good plays in mind.

I think the movie would have been better if he did make him squeal.

Another Boorman's great is "The Emerald Forest", sadly almost unknown for nowadays audiences. Powers Boothe and Charley Boorman, John's son, are both outstanding and the direction is top notch.

Hope And Glory I only watched for the first time the other month Crash and I thought it was a great piece of cinema, really well put together and it came across as being very authentic or at least how i picture in my head WW2 London as being!

Deliverance and Emerald Forest are both awesome and I don't dislike Beyond Rangoon with Patricia Arquette which he done some years later!

I'm glad that you liked the forgotten Hope and Glory. It's a great film from a great, underrated director. And Excalibur is fantastic, the best version of the King Arthur legend that I've ever seen.
