I am finding that I am watching Night of the creeps and Night of the comet alot (my wife is getting fed up watching the same movies again and again [Frown] ) and was wondering if anyone as any recommendations in the same sort of style...?

From the 80's of course...

My first suggestion is:

 -

"The Midnight Hour" (1985) is actually a hidden gem of an 80's flick. I enjoy it because of Jonna Lee who I loved in "Making the Grade".

Also, "The Midnight Hour" unleashes The Smiths "How Soon Is Now" long before flicks like "The Craft" or the tv series "Charmed"!

I must warn .. it is extremely hard to find for a decent price, but if you do.. grab it.

Perhaps The Monster Squad or Fright Night? The Stuff is a good mix of comedy and scares. An American Werewolf in London and Evil Dead II would also fit in, I'd think.
