Good movie. It feels 'euro', which also makes it feel a little cheap (deceptively), due to editing and ADR, etc. But it's a good Argento movie with some nice little frights and twists.

This is the cover I grew up with. Looks a little Elm. Street-ish:

I liked it. It actually skeeved and creeped me out just right.

by the way, the rumor is that in the original script THE MONKEY was The Killer!

Interesting. That might've made it a little too much like 'Murders in the Rue Morgue'. I'm glad they changed it.

Ronnie.. "Phenomena" is an incredible hidden gem from the master of spooks Dario Argento.

What about "Suspiria"? Considered by many to be Dario Argento's best flick..

I used to love Phenomena aka Creepers! Jennifer Connelly was so good in that, and I've heard that she HATES this movie. I always loved the classroom scene ("screw the past!") and all of the sleepwalking scenes. It has a very fairy-tale quality to it.

"Suspiria," on the other hand, I've never been able to watch all the through without falling asleep. I did enjoy "Terror at the Opera" though.
