P.S. some people you might know in this movie are David Naughton (An American Werewolf in London), Eddie Deezen (Eugene in Grease), and a young and pudgy Michael J. Fox (Back to the Future).

Just watched Midnight Madness, thanks for reminding.

Wow, this was a cool and crazy flick!

Debra Clinger was so hot, always nice to see Debi Richter too.
Eddie Deezen, always crazy and funny.
Michael J. Fox, already 18-19 and looking like a 3rd grade student, playing that very early Star Wars game.
Stephen Furst, very mean and very rich (and hungry).
Even Paul Reubens was in this one.

Director David Wechter did later The Malibu Bikini Shop, so he´s a wonderful guy.
The other director Michael Nankin has directed episodes to Sarah Connor Chronicles, CSI and Battlestar Galactica among others.

I forgot Midnight Madness was a Disney movie. That's makes sense given the relatively tame tone which stood out as weird to me in a time when the R-rated antics of movies like Animal House and The Hollywood Knights seemed to be more the norm.

Midnight Madness is one of my all time favorites - especially now that I live in Los Angeles and can visit all of the locations.

We screened it last year at the New Beverly and even had director David Wechter and actors Eddie Deezen & Alan Solomon (Leon!) out to talk about it:

Unfortunately, co-director Michael Nankin wasn't able to make it that night but he did talk about the film later in the year before our screening of The Gate. Unfortunately, we didn't catch that one on video!

I could have sworn that Disney took their name off of the movie back in the 80's. I remember it was released on VHS by a different company.

I can't wait to get that goody good Adam. Look at him and his team, so happy.

This has to be the best action comedy of the 80s.
