Wasn't sure where to put this as two of my faves of his was released in the 70s.....

1. Richard Pryor: Live In Concert
2. Moving
3. Silver Streak

He also co-wrote Blazing Saddles (one of my all time faves) and was supposed to play the role of Bart in the movie but the production studio deemed him too risky to insure........

Nice one Motley!

I gotta say

1. Stir Crazy
2. Blue Collar
3. Moving

I haven´t seen Live in Concert and don´t remember Silver Streak at all.
What´s wrong with me [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
I need to check them out.

Which RP Live is it Motley,
Sunset Strip (1982) or Here and Now (1983)?

Yeah that's the one aTomik. IMO it was by far the funniest. I think that's the one where he talked about shooting his own car tires out with a .357 so his wife wouldn't leave......

1. Silver Streak
2. Stir Crazy
3. Brewster's Millions

With honorable mention to his Muppet Movie cameo; while not the best cameo in the film (Mel Brooks's has that honor), it is quite amusing nonetheless.

Watched both 80s Richard Pryor stand up films Live on the Sunset Strip (1982) and Here and Now (1983).

While The Sunset Strip was a bit better i certainly enjoyed both of them.
Richard obviously was a big influence for Eddie Murphy and a very, very funny guy.

1.Stir Crazy
2.See No Evil Hear No Evil
3.The Toy

Also high on my list would be Some Kind Of Hero,Brewster's Millions,Moving,Bustin' Loose and despite quite a few bad reviews I enjoyed Critical Condition as well, haven't seen Blue Collar which I've heard good things about and can't remember the last time I watched Silver Streak so that needs a re-watch!

Another You which he teamed up with Gene Wilder again i thought was a bit of a stinker!

Watched these three Richard Pryor films: Live in Concert (1979), The Toy (1982) and Moving (1988)

Live in Concert is fantastic stand-up performance shot in California back in 1978. It was the first movie lenght stand-up film ever released.
Richard is unstoppable here so i highly recommend this one.

The Toy was very unfunny movie based on a french film with lazy jokes and irritating child actor Scott Schwartz.
The best thing in this one was Teresa Ganzel´s costumes with revealing cleavages [Big Grin]

Moving is a bit better but still only decent stuff. It includes interesting cast (Quaid, Thomas, Carvey, Dangerfield) and insanely beautiful Stacey Dash.
