OK i'm looking for a movie I believe it is a 80's movie it is a comedy about some guys working undercover in a pawn shop that caters to people that fence stolen items. They video tape everyone that comes in and take the items on pawn then hold a big party for all the customers to bust them.
any help on this one?

I think you're going to have to go back to the 70's for that one!

Try Hot Stuff (1979)

It's the first movie I thought of even though I haven't ever seen it. I'd check it out on DVD if it ever gets released!
