well i was at tvshowsondvd.com and they had a news item for smurfs and it said smurfs season one vol one comes to dvd december 4th [Smile] i thought this was awesome it will have 19episodes plus the smurf s spring specail if you wanna see the cover art check out the site [Smile] hope everyone has a smurfy day [Smile]

Any bonus features announced? The timing's just right, too, with the characters' golden anniversary coming next year (starting with their first appearance in the comic JOHANN ET PIWIT, which was intended to only be a one-shot, but the characters proved popular enough to get their own series).

It'll be interesting to see how far they'd want to go into the series given how unpopular the last few seasons were when it was clear they were out of ideas (indeed the final season with the admittedly dumb time warp theme hasn't been seen anywhere since its initial run).

o wow chris i didnt know that about smurfs you know your smurf trivia [Wink] the box art looks pretty cute i liked it i coudlnt figure out how to put it on here for everyone to see

Wow I have been wondering for years why Smurfs hadn't been put out on DVD yet!!!
