Swade... There was another song played after the basketball game victory called "Shooting for the Moon" by Amy Holland. This song played during the end credits, and may be the "ballad" you're referring to.

Great flick and as much as I LOVE Back To The Future, I wish people would stop thinking of this movie as a poor man's BTTF! I heard even Fox himself wasn't overly happy with it. Why not? It's so enjoyable!

I've been trying to find a Beavers Basketball jacket for ages! Custom made with 'Howard' on the back would be neato!
