Remember this tv movie loosely based on the Dungeons & Dragons craze? It sucked big time, but I kind of like it now because looking back at it... it is so cheesy! The Twin Towers in New York was a plot point in this movie so they showed them a lot. Tom Hanks was such a dork.
This movie is available on DVD in the wally world bargin bin for $5!
I was heavy into Dungeons & Dragons back then. I would play with my friends every weekend and then we would play at school during our "enrichment" hour. I was always the Dungeon Master and I had all the hardback DM books and I had all the accessories and the lead miniature people that I painted.
This movie made a lot of parents start a D&D witch hunt in my small community. A lot of kids were banned from playing it after that. I guess moms thought we would end up believing the game was real like Tom did.

LOL. I bought this from the Walmart bargin bin. It is a guilty pleasure of mine. I remember parents freaking out about D&D because of this movie. The kid from "My Bodyguard" Chris Makepeace was in it too.
