I must have watched this movie about 200 times in my lifetime by now. Understandable though considering it WAS one of my favorite fantasy films as a kid. I think I've already mentioned this in other threads on here though. Anyway, watching this movie these days as a grown-up, it does come off as kinda cheesy and a bit dated. But it still holds that special nostalgic value for me that keeps me coming back. Pretty much in the same sense that other movies like "The Goonies" and "The Last Starfighter" do as well. It's also always cool to me to go back and see those grand old 80's special effects that were pretty ground breaking at the time.

starring Stephen Shellen from Modern Girls, Gimme and F, and Casual Sex among others. He is awesome as River Rat Ray in this river masterpiece filmed entirely in Africa. Of course he is a nut job who commits horrible violent acts. "Don't you ever show a closed fist to Ray, if a man shows Ray a closed fist it means he's a dead man"
Also features John Terlesky from Chopping Mall. Both dudes are shirtless often.

This film is great, wonderful. Tom Selleck has to learn the rules of prison life to survive. Well at least for his backside to survive. He was already framed by two crooked cops. He should have taken a 6 month plea deal at the honor farm where they at least let you wear stripes. (see Hamburger 1986)
David Rasche might have stolen the show with coke snortin' ruthless above the law top cop portrayal.
When Tom Selleck is working at the airport with his uniform on and smiling it's just very goofy. We have some over the top stuntmen performances, such as jumping over a car coming at you, but not just clearing it....clearing it by 10 feet. too funny .. must see.

This was a decent action thriller but not among the best 80s buddy cop flicks. Starring Robert Carradine, Billy Dee Williams, Valerie Bertinelli and Peter Graves. Everyone tried hard but i must say that this movie is forgotten for a reason.

They look nothing like Ghoulies. *Checks himself* Ok - maybe a little...
'GORP'. Mentioned on another thread - I vaguely remembered it being good. I was so wrong.

Summer Rental a great family film. Another one of John Candy's, fun filled adventures. A great way to spend about an hour and a half's viewing.

made for television movie starring Angie ****inson sort of reprising her role from 70s tv-series Police Woman. Prime Target was even directed by Robert Collins, creator of the Police Woman series. Yaphet Kotto, David Soul and Charles Durning co-star as well as Jo Anderson who was pretty good in a small role. Nice NYC locations too.
Possibly a pilot for a new series that never materialized.

Jonathan Demme's "Married to the Mob" (1988) with Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Modine and Dean Stockwell. Great mob comedy. Caught it on TV Guide Network.

A great film to watch again from a time the 80s were bumping. My favorite part is when Mick grabs the she-man's package to see if his mates are telling the truth about the woman being a man.
