best seller is a really great movie, james woods is 100% believable as the cold blooded hitman and brian dennehy also gives a superb performance,i also liked the music score to it.

i have perfect strangers on dvd,it's known as blind alley here in the u.k, really enjoyed this one also, brad rjin who also starred in special effects was really good here as the killer for hire as was anne carlisle, great film.

never seen god told me to(have to read up on this one, sounds great just from the title) or i the jury, been wanting to watch i the jury for some time, just not the heavily cut u.k version.

Policewoman Centerfold (1983)

This was a cute made-for-tv movie.
A very pretty Melody Anderson plays a policewoman who´s in danger to lose her job in the force
after she poses naked in a magazine's centerfold.
This movie is based on the true story of Barbara Schantz, who posed nude in the May 1982 edition of Playboy

It was nice to see Hill Street Blues´ Ed Marinaro as Melody´s love interest and Donna Pescow (Saturday Night Fever)
as her best friend. Bert Remsen was the eeevil Captain Buckman.

Oh, Melody drives a station wagon with wood paneling [Cool]

After watching Policewoman Centerfold starring Melody Anderson and seeing
Donovan Leitch drawing Ming the Merciless on the english class blackboard few hours later in The In Crowd,
i knew that it was finally time to watch Flash Gordon (1980)

What a movie! I loved the special effects and the Queen soundtrack rocks!
Sam J. Jones was cool as Flash but i´d preferred Kurt Russell who considered the part.
Melody Anderson looks great and Ornella Muti is drop dead gorgeous.
Awesome stuff!

I own the Momentum Silver Anniversary Edition dvd
which includes some nice extras i´m gonna check out next.

Had you really not seen it before? I almost envy you!

Return to Oz (1985). Interesting, but much as I remembered from when I was a kid - I found some of the sidekicks irritating and the film itself leant far too heavily on knowledge of the original. Some nice ideas in a weak movie.

Oh dear -

I just watched The River. Decent film. Kinda miserable and sweet at the same time. I loved the corny deer scene.

RAINMAN was 1987. WOW!! That makes me feel really old.

Saw Twins last night. My 6 year old son watched it with me. Everytime he sees Arnold he calls him Conan.

Love the scene where Arnold is looking at the billboard of Stallone as Rambo and he feels his own bicep, looks back at the billboard and shakes his head and laughs.

Dan Aykroyd and John Candy and both spend a holiday in the woods together with their families.
Great laughs, good action, an entertaining story and some funny scenes with the racoon's too.
A great time had.

Honeyboy (1982)

This was a decent made-for-tv boxing drama. Yes, it has all the cliches but i liked it anyway.
The movie stars Erik Estrada as Rico "Honeyboy" Ramirez - a fighter from south bronx barrio.
Morgan Fairchild plays his PR- woman, James McEachin is his trainer and Hector Elizondo is his dad
Jem Echollas is Rico´s biggest rival, Tiger Maddox.
Estrada seemed to be in a pretty good shape in the early 80s.

Wisdom (1986)

Written and directed by, and starring Emilio Estevez.
It's not a classic by any means, but it's not as bad as many reviews might suggest it is.

Tom Skerritt and Veronica Cartwright are good in their supporting roles, and there's a spectacular
car chase near the end of the movie.

Charlie Sheen can be seen as Emilio's boss for about 30 seconds or so.

According to IMDB and my movie encyclopedia, this movie made Emilio Estevez 'the youngest
person to ever write, direct and star in a major motion picture'.

Night Friend (1987)

"A priest goes to great lengths in an effort to get a teenage prostitute off the streets." (IMDb)

This was a nice little Canadian street drama.
Starring Chuck Shamata, Heather Kjollesdal, Daniel MacIvor, Réal Andrews, Cynthia Belliveau and Art Carney.

One of the characters had cool Prince, Billy Idol and Motley Crue t-shirts.
You could also see AC/DC, The Police, Ozzy Osbourne and Grace Jones posters.

wisdom is a great movie, always like the finale where MAJOR SPOILERS ALERT demi moore gets shot by the police and estevez carries her to a near by class room then kisses her and then leaves, then moore says to the teacher in charge "you know the way he kissed me,he's not coming back" then estevez goes running looking for a way out and the place is absolutely swarming with police, estevez ditches his uzi ammo in a bin and then turns up in the football stadium surrounded by police.
you know it's not going to end happy, but wait, there's a twist,or a cop out as some viewers have called it.
really liked this movie, estevez and moore are great together, also love the music score by danny elfman,i'd go as far as saying, well in my oppinion anyway this is one of the most underated movies of the 80s.

http://youtu.be/apP29YfXYNI - love the opening scenes and music to wisdom.
