Armour of God

 -

IMDB

I haven't seen this in years, so let's hope it's as good as I remember.

Shotgun (1989)

- I wanted to see a b-action movie but this is pure category c stuff [Big Grin]
But what can you expect from a PM Entertainment Group (the "dynamic" Pepin/Merhi duo) flick.
Including sub-par "acting", some skin, great Shotgun Jones theme song
and even a montage (they build a flame-throwing truck).
Hilarious stuff!

The Bedroom Window (1987)

- This was a pretty good romantic thriller directed by Curtis Hanson (Losin´ It, L.A. Confidential etc.)
Starring Steve Guttenberg, Elizabeth McGovern and Isabelle Huppert.

There´s some great stuff on the soundtrack, Robert Palmer, Val Young, Rick James...

Val Young "Seduction" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gUV3vrYt1o
Rick James "Sweet And Sexy Thing" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffw1_rMsFtY

Kevin Williamson is working on the script for a remake.

Hunk (1987)

- What a major disappointment!
I had the snacks, some beer = ready to be entertained
and this turned out to be a lame, overlong and unfunny movie.
And is this supposed to be a Crown International release?
With no nudity at all [Confused] [Big Grin] What a disgrace!

The Beat (1988)

- This was a decent teen drama/art film.
Definately not for everyone but it kind of paid off in the end.
Directed by Paul Mones (he played Nick Hauser in Tuff Turf)
and starring David Jacobson, William McNamara, Kara Glover and John Savage.

Project A (1983)

Fighting against pirates in "old Hong Kong". Chinese costume drama with plenty of over-the-top tongue in cheek action and music. -- IMDB

One of the best Chan/Hung/Biao collaborations.

9/10

The Harold Lloyd inspired Clock Tower Scene
