I need to know the name of this movie I saw way back in the mid 80's. It's about these two high school guys (cool guy and a nerd) and two girls (popular and not so popular). The cool guy takes the popular girl to an amusement park and goes on the roller coaster with her. She is terrified of the ride and he takes advantage of her while she is in this horrified state by putting his hand down her dress and cops a feel. After the ride is over she sees her exposed breast, slaps him, runs off and his nerdy friend consoles her and they end up falling for each other. Does anyone know the name of this movie? [Confused]

I picked up the Region 2 DVD of it really cheap last year. It was ok, but the whole Diamond theives plot was pretty lame.

The movie is also VERY Canadian, just a warning.

The diamond thief thing ruins an otherwise good movie! It's sort of goofy...but lots of dumb fun.

Logan5 that movie is moving up the list of ones that are often asked about on here. I remembering someone finding it by looking up the movie I mentioned Survival Game and finding the name of the movie Breaking All The Rules in the Tagline. Talk about Good Karma!

Survival Game (1987)

What is region 2? Where can I get a copy of this movie? Nobody in the U.S. seems to have it.

Region 2 for a DVD means it is compatiable with certain DVD Players in certain areas of the world.

Seven regions (also called locales or zones) have been defined, and each one is assigned a number. Players and discs are often identified by their region number superimposed on a world globe. If a disc plays in more than one region it will have more than one number on the globe.

1: U.S., Canada, U.S. Territories
2: Japan, Europe, South Africa, and Middle East (including Egypt)
3: Southeast Asia and East Asia (including Hong Kong)
4: Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Central America, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean
5: Eastern Europe (Former Soviet Union), Indian subcontinent, Africa, North Korea, and Mongolia
6: China
7: Reserved (Not Sure On this One?)
8: Special international venues (airplanes, cruise ships, etc

It's important to remember that many players can actually play all regions. It's worth checking the make of your machine on the net.

You can also (sometimes) get region-0 DVDs, which do not have any specific region coding on them and will play on all DVD players.

It's also worth mentioning that it is perfectly legal to take back-up copies of any DVD that you own, and that back-up copy need not include the region coding. None of my back-ups do. That way I can bu DVDs from wherever I like and I always end up with a copy I can play on my laptop when travelling (PC DVD drives can't be made region-free......)

I also use this method but it is worth mentioning that there is lots of software out there that will make your PC region free. I personally use AnyDVD. It is also worth mentioning that if you back up a region 1 disc onto a blank disc using AnyDVD and Clone DVD, the copy will then work in most DVD players including XBOX and PS2 (slim version)...

Noms [Cool]
