Hi there, I am looking for the title of a film about this guy who has a robot, his girlfiend is killed and he replaces her brain with a computer chip.

actually DEADLY FRIEND is correct, i am sure. if not, that would be odd.

Definitely "Deadly Friend" (1986). It starred Matthew Laborteaux (Albert From Little House On The Prairie) and Kristy Swanson. I actually saw this movie at the theater, I wasn't expecting much and was a surprised how creepy the feel of it came across.
