This is a children's movie from the early 80's or very late 70's. It could either be a first run movie or a made for television movie. I do not know if it is American or British made. The movie starts with a boy of about 8 yrs to 10 yrs of age. He is in an apartment and this very large box about the size of the living room comes addressed to him. The box opens and there is this kind of door way and a car. HE gets in the car and drives thru the door way. When he drives thru the doorway I believe that he is transported to Dr. Suess world. If anyone could help I would be greatful. Thanks!

That would be The Phantom Tollbooth - I always loved this movie! It's actually from 1970.
