I tried to watch this movie again last night. I had watched it a year or more ago, and I knew I thought it was dumb then, but I thought maybe I'd try again, seeing that Sam Jones (my big brother) is in it- [Wink] and Deborah Foreman-who I really like.

But, I have never seen any movie that rubbed me the wrong way more than this movie. I could not stand Deborah Foreman's character...she was the most annoying thing ever. They'd ask her a question and she would scream an answer, like YES!! NO!!! There was no purpose to her being a chauffer, she came out of nowhere and decided she wanted to drive a BIG BLACK CAR!!

I couldn't even stand how she walked down the street when she was coming to meet everyone. Her outfit made her look like a cross between Madonna and a bag lady.

When they were walking through the dessert, I think I would have left her there for dead if I was Sam Jones, cause that was so annoying, just her mannerisms, and the way she talked, and then she falls down in the rain and starts bawling, and I didn't know why...if her heel on her shoe broke, or if she was tired or what.

I never saw suck a mess as this movie. I like Debbie and Sam on their own, but when they put them in that movie that was a total disaster, whoever wrote the script for it, I have no clue what they were thinking.

I had to shut it off, the acting was so horrible.

If someone likes this movie...please give me 1 reason why???

Valley-I know you love Debbie and all, but she was horrible in this...it's a good thing she found work again after doing this movie.

Well after that slam on the movie it is hard to respond, but guess what goof....I like this movie.

And as for others, just go to imdb.com and you will see several positive reviews of "My Chauffeur". It's not "Valley Girl" and the script is weak, but my one reason why I liked this movie was Deborah Foreman's character because it was different than the norm. She was crazy cool fer sure. I'm stunned the Sam Jones lover you are didn't like his streaking through the park?

It was like so many 80s Comedies that went for the laughs with gags, sometimes it works, but often it just takes away from the movie. [Frown]

I told you I like Debbie too,but she wasn't crazy cool though, she was plain crazy in this movie, I thought she might have been Buffy from April Fool's Day with a bad make over.

I missed Sam streaking- [Eek!] It must have been after they made out in the cabin. He was looking good in that, but them two getting together made no sense, cause she was so annoying. After the whole cabin scene, I couldn't take it any more, I shut it off.

I might go check out the reviews about it. I could not believe E.G. Marshall was in this movie too.

OOOOH...I know what I HATED....the whole scene where she is driving down the road, and she's mumbling to herself, then she starts laughing like some mental person, cause there is nobody around but her, and then when she goes and picks up that rock singer-that was the worst...when they saw the blue haired lady, with the blue dog, and blue dress, and he wants to get her underwear, and tackles her, and she was swinging the totally fake dog around on the leash...that was so beyond awful, and then she gets him on stage, and they are so terrible at singing. That whole group.. the punk rocker guy, and 3 girls, were the worst actors ever. They totally sucked, and had the worst lines to even have to say.
