The soundtrack to SKOW is really a great album - try to get it if you can. Unfortunately, the song being played in the background during the party scene at the end, is just anonymous background musiic, totally uncredited and absent from the soundtrack album.

My favorite track from the movie is the scene in the middle of the movie (with the confrontation) when they are in the club, where Watts goes to face up to Keith about the forthcoming date, and nearly tells him how she feels. The song, played by the group at the club) is called Turn To The Sky from a group called The March Violets.

that scene makes me cry everytime "do you miss me Keith, do you miss not being around me?" You just want him to look at her, and stop being so blind!

Love the movie and the soundtrack. The movie is a darker version of "Pretty in Pink" with a much better finale and the soundtrack features one of my favorite bands from the 80's, Flesh for Lulu.

Strangely, the title track played over the opening credits (Das Testament De Dr Mabuse by Propoganda) isn't on the soundtrack album either.

Neither is the Billy Idol song 'Catch My Fall' which is used frequently as a musical cue in the movie.

Same thing happened on the PiP soudntrack, where the instrumental cues, as well as New Order's 'Elegia' were totally left off the soundtrack.

Happy 2018, everyone.

I never knew much about the soundtrack for Some Kind of Wonderful. I don't remember a lot about the music in the film, but I will need to go back & re-watch this - in part to may more attention to the music.

Thanks for the heads-up on this, everyone.

Devolution here,

If I had it my way I would have walked into my wedding to Turn to the sky. I have loved this album for forever.
