OK, so some outfits from the 80's don't look so hot now, but some do. Who dressed the coolest for guys and girls.

As for girls, I thought Molly Ringwald had a decent look, also loved Jenny Wright in Out of Bounds, Melanie Griffith in Something Wild.

As for guys, Christian Slater in Gleaming the Cube, Jon Cryer in Pretty in Pink, Pinhead in Hellraiser, no just kidding.

For me that has to be:

- Judd Nelson in 'The Breakfast Club' and Rob Lowe in 'St Elmo's Fire'.

- Wendy & Lisa in 'Purple Rain'.

Not stylish, but [Cool]

What about Madonna? She totally fits the image of an 80s icon. You cannot look at anything she did in the 80s and not typecast her to that era. She is a chameleon because she has changed majorly changed with each decade since then. Now she is finally starting to look her age with her wardrobe.

prince and madonna.

i loved madonna's style up until the 'who's that girl' look. i wasn't diggin the short, platinum blonde hair do. i also loved every outfit, that prince wore in purple rain..which is what he dressed like in real life as well.
madonna looked her best (in my opinion) in the video for borderline. i liked prince in the little red corvette and 1999 videos. another good one was rasberry beret and of course...when doves cry.

Actually, with Madonna I liked her look better before she got famous. I saw some footage when she had short black hair when she was in a new wave band called the Breakfast Club(Coincidence?) She looked amazing.
