I'm trying to think of movies that had at least 2 actors/actresses in another movie.

Red Dawn had at least 4 that were in the Outsiders. C. Howell, Sheen, the guy that played a soc and swayze

Need to still check out The Cotton Club so I've just added it to my online rental list and I can't believe that I've not got around to actually watching it already as I like all involved though I have heard mixed oppinions about it!

"The Cotton Club" was bashed by some critics and was a box office flop, it was a case of "jumping in the bandwagon" after the poorly received "One from the Heart" also directed by Coppola.
The critics were too anxitious to start throwing rocks at Coppola, because in the 70's he ruled Hollywood with the two Godfather movies; The Conversation and Apocalypse Now!
I always liked "The Cotton Club", it's a bit confusing in parts and it have too many subplots, but is sharply directed with great visual style in the evocation of that Era and the cast is outstanding.
Don't you forget that "Rumble Fish" was also a box office flop, and is probably one of the best 10 films that came out in the 80's, at least it ranks high in my list.
