If any of you get Epix 2, Saturday the 14th is on tonight at 9:45! Also, Netflix says the instant watch is coming soon. I love this movie!

Petty.. I think "Saturday The 14th"  is a funny, cheesy, and totally campy film. The best part is the fact that it doesn’t take itself seriously and is intentionally silly from the start.

For those of you that have never seen it:

A family inherits a spooky house and their son finds a book that unleashes strange creatures that start to torment them, so they eventually seek out an exterminator who name happens to be Van Helsing.

Totally remember it playing on HBO in the 80's.. must have been rated PG because it played a lot in the daytime it seemed. It spoofed several 80's horror flicks .. but from what I remember "Friday The 13th" was not really one of them.

And it is infamous from the shark fin jaws themed bathroom scene!

While I recommend checking out the original if you enjoy goofy comedy horror.. I can't say the same for the sequel that fell far short of 'so bad, it's good'.

I agree .. Epix Drive-in sounds like fun!

EPIX is the best thing to happen to television since it was invented. EPIX on demand has like 3,000 titles to choose from.

I have Saturday the 14th ready for DVR

I have the VHS too! [Smile] I never saw Saturday the 14th Strikes Back. I've heard too many bad things about it lol. Epix Drive-in is a good channel. I DVRed Warlock, Warlock 3 and Witchboard 3. And I agree with Spreadking...Epix is awesome!
