In my youth my Happiest Place on Earth was Universal Studios. You could walk up to KITT sit down and have a chat with him.

Attractions like 'Conan The Barbarian', 'The A-Team', 'Miami Vice', and 'Battle Star Gallactica' was it for me!

Indeed, Michael Knight's adventures are rather silly all in all, but that doesn't make them any less entertaining to watch, for whatever reason. Now, just imagine: KITT driven by the Blues Brothers...that might be an actually workable crossover for Universal to consider if they'd ever get the right Jake....

Watched the first season and yes, it´s very silly stuff and you can´t take this show seriously but nevertheless i enjoyed watching most of the episodes.

Some fun stuff among the characters in every episode and few interesting co-stars.

It was also fun to see how they followed movies of the era with the storylines: There´s the Cannonball Run episode etc.

Also, most of the time we can see Knight and co operating in small towns or somewhere outside L.A. to cut the costs.
Finally in "White Bird" we could see KITT driving during the nightime, see some skycrapers and sense that big city feeling. Damn it felt good!

Season 2 later.

For some reason, Knight Rider and A-Team are two shows that hasn't aged well for me. Loved them as a kid, but when removing the rose colored nostalgia goggles I find them hard to sit through.
