Could Adam Lambert be the new lead singer for Queen?

That would be an interesting combination and not too far-fetched consudering Adam sang "Bohemian Rhapsody" during his initial American Idol audition and he already has sang with them along with Kris Allen during the American Idol results show. Hell some people have even compared Adam to the late great Freddie Mercury.

This could be a story worth watching.

Nothing personal Sammy, but it's really not a good idea... Hey, what about if he resurects an old 80s metal band instead???

I know it's not a great idea but I see a lot of Freddie Mercury in Adam Lambert. They both have incredible range and Adam is very theatrical and Queen is a very theatrical band.

Maybe have Adam record one or two songs with them but not be their permanent frontman?

i agree with you sam i think he would be great as the lead singer for queen if just for a tour maybe? i know paul rodgers is touring with bad company now cause they are coming here soon so maybe that's why they are looking at adam also?

well adam has said that him and queen have talked about collaborating for some songs.. but that adam is focusing in his career right now and making an album. good for him!

as great as i think adam is, i don't know if i would like to see him as the definite lead singer of queen. not now anyway.. it's too soon?

I watched the Mike and Juliet Show yesterday, and Juliet asked him about the rumors about singing with Queen. He said no, he is not going to be their new frontman. They are all just rumors. He said he was just thrilled to be able to sing on the Amer. Idol finale with them along with Kris. He did talk to Bryan May and maybe someday will work with him. This is what he said on the M&J show, so I would take his word over the internet rumors.
