well it has not been a good weekend for my dog jasmine she is 9 and a lab-chow mix. last month when we took her and harley to the vet she had a cyst or soft tissue lump on her chest, the vet examined it and said it wasn;t bothering her or getting bigger so he wasn't gonna remove it? well saturday morning we woke up to blood spots everywhere and checked her out that is where the blood was coming from, of course i called the vet but they told me to bring her in today and if it has to be removed she will have it done tuesday morning. bill shaved her hair around it we were trying everything to get it bandaged but nothing would stay on her ! i am very worried because bill told me the cyst got bigger in a month's time and her chest is really hard around it not a good sign i am hoping they can remove it and she will be okay? i will let you all know how we make out at the vet today! dee [Frown] [Confused]

good news jasmine will be okay!!!! turns out it is not cancer but a sebaceous cyst that broke and got infected pretty gross i won't go into details but it is draining now and jasmine is on antibiotics for 10 days once the infection is gone we are gonna schedule surgery to remove it the vet said we didn't have to but we are having it removed so jasmine doesn't have this happen again!! i have to call the vet in 11 days and schedule the surgery but i am glad she is okay sleeping on the couch right now as she ate and got her pill thank you for the concern all !! [Smile] [Wink]

jasmine is doing better the cyst has stopped bleeding i have to call her vet thursday to schedule the surgery for the cyst removal though would rather get it removed then something else happen to it!! dee
