 - A very underrated band in their homeland -- that's for sure.

I'm currently listening to this:

I'm working my way through the latest King Crimson box set, which i picked up exactly on release date ! [Cool]

The Sailors' Tales box covers the period 1970-1972, and consists of 21 CDs, 4 blu-rays, and 2 dvds, plus additional goodies
(including a filmposter for The Devil's Triangle, a documentary on the Bermuda triangle, narrated by Vincent Price, for which
King Crimson apparently provided some of the sounds and music)

This is my fifth of the huge KC box sets, and arguably the best one yet, as overall sound-quality is superb, even though some of
the live CDs are taken from audience cassette recordings that still sounded a bit rough in the Larks' Tongues In Aspic box set.
Obviously, a lot of tender loving care went into this project !

If you want to get an impression of the Sailors' Tales box set, here's an unboxing clip : www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ni4AbYZnRY

And now for something completely different..

 - -

Two albums by French experimental electronic noise artist Les Neiges Noires De Laponie : Olmmai (2015) and Askafroa (2016).

It's a very noisy mixture of industrial, breakcore and speedcore, probably as far removed from mainstream music as possible. [Cool]

Here's an overview of the Olmmai album : www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSMy5Seyk7Y

An '80s song that I'd completely forgotten about.

It's bizarre to think we've arrived at Now 99, where does all the time go?

I tried listening to this, but sadly long gone are the glory days of the earlier albums. It just sounds too dull and didn't hold my interest.
I listened to 3 or 4 songs off and then turned it off and put on this ....
