Put it on eBay then and let free market economics decide what it's worth. I offered 500 uk pounds for it, he came back saying it was too low but didn't try to up my bid price.
this kinda implies that he isn't interested in getting rid of it at all, and is just trying to get some attention, as looking back through his earlier posts he seems to do all he can to mention that he has this Gi.

That's probably because 500 is an insult for Dutch's gi and I think he paid way more for it than that. I would say that you atleast need to offer 1,000 for it.

he paid 1000 dollars. i offered 500 pounds as a lowball offer, expecting that if he really wanted to sell it he'd up it. If he put it up on ebay I doubt he'd get much more than $1000. It's Dutch, not Johnny, and the 80stees guy who would probably be the main interested party has already got Johnny's

500 pounds is about 925 dollars, hence my 'lowball' offer. I'd have scope to move a few hundred above that, which is fair value for the item. He bought it for 1000 on ebay just before the summer, I highly doubt it's worth significantly more that that half a year later.
this discussion is elementary anyway, as he doesn't want to sell it.

And yes mate i am up for selling it, but im not selling it for near to nothing lol. People of ebay have such a cheek as they expect things for nothing. For example authentic designer bags for just £10 what a joke.
By the way im a she not a he.
And like i said before i would sell it and im not just trying to get attention. I have had alot of people friends, cousins ask if i would sell it to them, but i refused..Now im thinking i might sell it, if the price is right.
