Actress Barbara Hershey is the wife of actor Naveen Andrews, who stars as Sayid in the hit TV show LOST.

In a magazine article from the early 1990s, Barbara Hershey revealed that many fans tell her that her performance in "The Entity" is their favourite, which surprises her as the film was generally not well-received by the critics.

Barbara Hershey changed her name to 'Barbara Seagull' after the book 'Jonathon Livingston Seagull', a very popular campy pop psychology allegorical fable of the time. Apparently, she also had some personal problems after getting them resolved she changed her name back. Besides her talent one director said that she continued her career because she showed up for work on time, sober and knew her lines.
