‘Reckless’ was written by Chris Columbus, who also wrote "Goonies", "Gremlins" and "Young Sherlock Holmes" as well as directing "Adventures in Babysitting", the "Home Alone" series and, more recently the "Harry Potter" movies.

Adam Baldwin (Randy Daniels) is NOT one of the famous “Baldwin Brothers”. He is no relation to Alec, William, Stephen and Daniel.

‘Reckless’ was Aidan Quinn’s first film.

Jennifer Grey makes an appearance as "Cathy Bennario" in her first movie role.

Aidan Quinn was Paramount's choice to play Jesus Christ in their production of "Last Temptation of Christ" before a storm of controversy forced them to cancel their plans for the movie. Soon after, Universal picked up the movie with Willem Dafoe playing Christ.

Aidan’s two brothers, Paul and Declan, both worked on 1995’s ‘Leaving Las Vegas’, Paul played a 'biker guy' and Declan was the cinematographer.

Keep an eye out for Haviland Morris, Tracy’s cheerleader friend, she was also ‘Carolyn Maltford’ from "Sixteen Candles".

Just prior to her start in films, Daryl Hannah played keyboard and sang backup for Jackson Browne, whom she was also living with romantically.

Daryl’s childhood interest in movies grew out of a lifelong battle with insomnia.

To transform their interpretation of Johnny's viewpoint into visual images the production staff chose red and black to be the dominant colors of the film.
