Judy discovers another woman's jewellery in her bed and accuses her husband of cheating on her. The same thing happens to Goldie Hawn's character in "Shampoo".

Armand Assante who plays Henri more recently appeared as "La Grenouille" in NCIS.
"Private Benjamin" was turned into a series for CBS in 1981. Brennan, Williams and Damita Jo Freeman returned for the show which lasted two seasons and landed Brennan an Emmy. Benjamin was portrayed on the show by Lorna Patterson, better known as the flight attendant Randy in the classic "Airplane!", which also came out in 1980. In an even more interesting, both "Private Benjamin" and "Airplane!" made their Turner Classic Movies debuts in the same month of September 2003.
"Private Benjamin" was named by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 Funniest Comedies of all time.
