"One Dark Night" was released in the UK in 1984 as a certificate X, later reviewed to 18, no way would it have got a PG here, as it's way too scary!

Director Tom McLoughlin married actress Nancy Mott, who had a small role in ONE DARK NIGHT as 'Lucy.' A few years later, McLoughlin directed FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI: JASON LIVES and his wife, now credited as Nancy McLoughlin, played one of Jason's many victims.

During pre-production and production, ONE DARK NIGHT had many working titles, including ENTITY FORCE, MAUSOLEUM, NIGHT IN THE CRYPT, and REST IN PEACE.

Actress Elizabeth Daily (Leslie) went on to star as Loryn in Valley Girl. She also appeared in PEE-WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE as well as performing many 1980's dance club hits using the name E.G. Daily. She is currently a very successful voice-over actress (she provides voices for RUGRATS, THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, etc.) and is still active in the horror genre, with two new movies awaiting release: THE DEVIL'S REJECTS and MUSTANG SALLY.
