Rewind ArchiveCarl Reiner is the director and a co-writer of "The Man With Two Brains," reprising his duties from the last Steve Martin film, "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid". He also directed Martin's first feature "The Jerk."
Rewind ArchiveKathleen Turner said of the role: "After 'Body Heat' I got a lot of offers but none of the films were good enough. I wanted this part because it's a comedy and because the character was so outrageous. I thought if I was very brave I could do some extraordinary things with it. It wasn' t a run-of-the mill, token female role."
Thanks to SanjeevOne actor that had a bit part in this film was James Cromwell. In this movie he plays the owner of a cottage that Steve Martin's character rented in order to hide his new lady brain. Check out his clothes in his brief scene, looks kind of silly. He was the farmer in 'Babe' and also appeared on TV in Barney Miller.
Rewind ArchiveAt the end of the movie, the credits state: "Merv Griffin did not turn himself in and is at large. If you have any information as to his whereabouts, call your local theatre manager."
There's often fake stuff floating round, y'know? -Like the 'ghost boy' that can allegedly be seen in "Three Men And A Baby".
