Henry Brilliant is played by Chris Lemmon, who is the son of Hollywood screen legend, Jack Lemmon, who appeared in Some Like It Hot alongside Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis.

Chris Lemmon also appeared in 1977 spoof Airport 77.

Lea Thompson starred in Back to the Future as Marty's mother. More recently she starred in her own sitcom, Caroline in the City.

John Bird, who plays the Professor, was also in the satirical Bremner, Bird and Fortune (1999) and A Fish Called Wanda (1988).

The man who wrote and directed Going Undercover (Yellow Pages), James Kenelm Clarke, also produced The 39 Steps (1978).

Adam West (the original TV Batman) makes an uncredited appearance as Henry's Father.
