One of the Doctors is called Dr Bloch after Robert Bloch - Author of "Psycho" and friend to Author H.P Lovecraft.

Director Gordon and Producer Yuzna made several films together in the 80's including "Reanimator" and "Dolls"

I bought an import copy of "From Beyond" a few years ago on ebay and without looking at it right now I can tell you that the quality was Vhs-like, the sound was weak and the subtitles (which could not be turned off!) were in some language such as Korean or perhaps Chinese... Beware!

Bunny Summers, the large lady with the dog at the start of the film who runs from the house screaming with her dog, also played the (also screaming!) nurse at the start of "Re-Animator"
