For Keeps Trivia

The baby in the movie was played by Hailey Ellen Agnew, "For Keeps" is her only movie to date. She is now a senior in college at the University of Michigan.

Darcy's mother Donna is played by actress Miriam Flynn (who also stars in the 'National Lampoons Vacation', 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation', & 'National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation' as Ellen's Griswald's cousin Catherine)

Director John G. Avildsen is probably best known for his "Rocky" and "Karate Kid". "For Keeps" shares many of the creative team that worked on "Karate Kid" including cinematographer, composer, production designer and so on.

A baby shower scene was shot but didn't make it into the film. Strangely enough, still photos from that scene are on the box and were used in promotional materials.

Pauly Shore has a small cameo playing the friend of Stan.

Apparently, this was the first film or first featured screening of Pauly Shore!

Did you know that the same house used in "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" was also used in "For Keeps" where Darcy lives.
